  • Start cheap: Shop thrift shops, hit garage sales, or visit estate sales.

  • Do your homework. (study the in's & outs) (ie) Discogs.

  • Stick to originals: Whenever possible, choose original pressings of old albums over reissues. ...

  • Find a reliable source.

  • Keep Track of your purchases (ie) Discogs or a spreadsheet.
